New Experiences, and a video

Today marked the beginning of a new semester, which means that I had brand new classes to go to. But also, Madi started at a new daycare too. I felt really bad making her leave her old daycare, but I felt that it was best she went somewhere else. I guess that's part of parenting, right? I wanted her to be somewhere where she would learn, instead of just play all day. Hopefully, this new daycare will help with that.

I was worried how she would react to me leaving her somewhere new, but like always, she completely surprised me. She didn't even cry. She went right to her teacher and let me go. I just KNEW she would throw a fit and cry for me. HA.

When I picked her up, she was sleeping. I woke her and she went right into my arms. She said, "Hi mommy!" and showed me where her cubby was to get her stuff. Her teacher told me that she had a great day, and that she was a very good listener. On the way home, she couldn't stop talking about how she "had a good day, mommy!" I'm so relieved.

snapped at a red light while she was talking about her day.

Here's a little video. This was about an hour after I picked her up from school.

"Do you want to go back to school?"
"No."
(lol)

I'm hoping when she goes back Thursday, it will be as easy. But like I said, she is always surprising me and keeping me on my toes ;)
